| PANDROL VIPA-SP
PANDROL VIPA-SP was developed by Pandrol to provide a non-bonded resilient track fastening assembly with a high level of attenuation of dynamic forces using a two-part resilient pad system. The main applications of the system are on slab tracks, particularly those in tunnels, to reduce ground borne vibration, and on bridges to reduce excitation of surrounding structures and re-radiated noise. Different versions of this track support system accommodate rail sections with different foot widths, different rail inclinations, and different requirements for attaching the unit to the slab.

| PANDROL VANGUARD is a new proprietary rail fastening in which the rail is supported by elastic wedges under its head, leaving the rail base unsupported. The elastic wedges are held in place by side brackets, which are fastened to the track foundation. The principal feature of this system compared to conventional rail fastenings is that it allows significantly greater vertical deflections under traffic, without an unacceptable accompanying degree of rail roll. The low vertical stiffness gives improved attenuation of the dynamic forces generated at the wheel/rail interface, reducing the level of dynamic forces transmitted through the fastening and into the supporting structure.
A baseplate version exists, which can be installed on existing wooden sleepers or blocks, or retro-fitted to concrete slab track
