Kilfrost has been supplying de- and anti-icing products to the railway and aviation industries since the 1930s. Originally established in London, the company moved to its current site in the north of England in 1940, from where it has continually developed innovative products to meet the ever-changing needs of the transport sector. • Kilfrost Rail - Fully biodegradable fluid for maintaining ice free electrified third rails - allows operation of urban and light rail systems in harsh conditions
• CIM - Long-lasting solid platform de-icer with anti-slip additive and low corrosivity towards track and metal infrastructure
• GDF - Sprayable fast-acting liquid platform de-icer with anti-corrosion additives
• BTB - Low viscosity antifreeze lubricant for air-braking systems
• ABC-3 - Anti-icing compound used to protect train brake callipers against the build up of ice and snow.
