Bombardier to supply München airport peoplemover

GERMANY: Bombardier is to supply an Innovia 300 peoplemover to provide access to a satellite facility being built at München airport Terminal 2.

The underground line will be 400 m long with a journey time of less than 60 sec.

The contract is worth a total of €89m, including 12 vehicles, Cityflo 650 automatic train control, platform screen doors, CCTV, telecoms, power distribution and nine years of operation and maintenance after the opening in 2014.

Announcing the contract on November 17, Bombardier said it has supplied Innovia peoplemover systems to more than 20 airports worldwide.
