Buying seats

SEAT MAKER Compin has been acquired from Balloffet Group and a private investor by former Alstom Rolling Stock Director Marc Granger and a financial partner, the company announced on June 17.

Based in Normandy, Compin's 250 staff produce around 130000 seats per year. The majority are for trains, but there are also about 25000 bus seats. Turnover at the firm is around €55m per year.
