Cooling China

21 September 2007

STUTTGART-based Behr Industry has formed an equally-owned joint venture with Zhuzhou Lince Group which will begin producing rolling stock cooling equipment in China next year.

The companies have worked together previously in the production of components for DJ4 locomotives built by Siemens. 'We believe that through this joint venture the relationship between our companies will be further strengthened and enhanced,' said Lince Group General Manager Xiao Yongmin. 'We are convinced that the combination of Lince's intimate knowledge of the Chinese market and Behr's leading-edge technology in rail vehicle cooling systems will serve to make this joint venture a great success.'
