Stadler Diamant electric multiple-unit for BDWM.

SWITZERLAND: A first class area with 20 leather seats, reading lights and power sockets is included in the 14 low-floor ABe4/8 'Diamant' EMUs which Stadler is supplying to BDWM Transport. They will operate on the metre-gauge Bremgarten - Dietikon line, which forms Zürich S-Bahn route S17.

There are also 84 standard seats in the 37·5 m aluminium-bodied three-section articulated units, which will run at up to 80 km/h. The first vehicle will enter service in April, and the full fleet will be operational by mid-2011.
