Seeing eye to eye

26 March 2008

UK: A range of counter service security screens that offer increased protection for staff and improved access for mobility-impaired customers has been launched onto the UK market by Safetell.

Branded as Eye2Eye, the screens combine bullet-resistant glazing with a height-adjustable counter that can be positioned to meet the height requirements of individual customers. Counter height is controlled by office staff. Staff can also activate buttons on the public side of the screen, allowing the customer to adjust the counter height.

The modular floor-to-ceiling counter assembly can be secured flush over an existing window or recessed into an ?alcove or aperture. The security glazing moves with the counter, which can be electronically adjusted for use at heights between 760 mm and 1 050 mm above the floor.
