Speed probe agreement

09 May 2010

CHINA: Nanche Electric Equipment Co is to manufacture Hall-effect speed probes under licence from Rowe Hankins using kits supplied by the UK firm, and will also provide technical support in the Chinese rail market.

'Most of the major rail engineering companies that we work with in the rest of the world have already set up joint ventures in China', said Tim Allard, Export Manager at Rowe Hankins. 'They want to use proven and familiar rail safety technologies such as Rowe Hankins speed probes. By working with Nanche we can meet these needs competitively and ensure that our products have full local engineering support.'

Founded in 2002, Nanche Electric supplies speed, voltage, current, power and pressure sensors, as well as technology to convert primary data to instrument outputs.
