Opened 2011, three operating routes serving 43 stops. See Angers network map.

Line A runs from Roseraie in the south via the main station and city centre to Avrillé-Ardenne in the northwest, and was opened on June 25 2011.

Work on a second line began in late-2018 from Belle-Beille Campus in the west to Monplaisir in the northeast. The project’s first deliverable was a new city centre alignment for Line A via Centre des Congrés, opened on January 4 2021. The original alignment via Ralliement has been reconstructed as two sections connecting with the new line west from Mollière: the northern part to Saint-Serge - Université is now used by Line B services to Monplaisir, whilst the southern section via Ralliement to Foch-Maison Bleue is operated by new service route C, linking Belle-Beille Campus with Roseraie at the south end of Line A. These service changes came into effect with opening of the two new branches on July 8 2023; Alstom has delivered 20 additional Citadis LRVs.

Operations are managed by RATP Dev.
