The metro line in Dnipro (formerly Dnipropetrovsk until 2016) opened from Vokzal’na (mainline station) west to Pokrovs’ka on December 29 1995. An extension southeast from Vokzal’na to Tsentral’na is under construction (2·5 km, 2 stations), though the continuation to Muzeina is on hold (1·4 km, 1 station).
