National Federation of Transport User Associations
Established in 1978, FNAUT promotes development of public transport by all modes, encourages ways to reduce car and lorry use, and seeks to develop intermodal transport policies to improve quality of life and the environment. It also aims to improve conditions for public transport users.
FNAUT has a membership of around 160 associations representing all regions of France. It is itself a constituent member of a number of European bodies, including the Fédération Européenne des Voyageurs (FEV), Transport et Environnement (T&E) and Initiative Transport Europe (ITE).
