Light rail project approved 2021; single route with 17 stops. See Toronto & Mississauga - region map.

The route runs west from McMaster university, following King St to Gage Park, then Main St East and Queenston Rd to an eastern terminus at the Eastgate retail district. A fleet of around 18 LRVs will be needed.

Following financial uncertainty over the project, agreement from federal government support has enabled the project to go ahead.
