Single interurban tram route, opened 2010. See Lyon network map.
This premium-fare interurban tram-train route links central Lyon at Part Dieu station with the airport and TGV station at Saint-Exupéry with two intermediate stops. It shares the inner 15 km of route with Métro de Lyon’s tram route T3, and was opened on August 9 2010.
The CFTA Rhône consortium of Transdev (the operator, formerly Veolia), Vinci and CDC Infrastructure was awarded the concession to build and operate the route. However in February 2020 managing authority Sytral agreed to terminate the concession and acquire the operation.
