Single light rail line opened 2020 with 9 stops. See Lund network map.

Construction work began on February 15 2017 on a light rail route from Lund Central station northeast to Science Village/ESS (5·5 km, 9 stops) ; CAF has supplied a fleet of seven Urbos 100 LRVs.

Services were originally expected to begin in August 2020, but after official opening on December 12 full public operation began on December 13 2020.

Plans for expansion of the system include a branch southeast to Dalby and an extension from Central running south to Staffanstorp, but these are currently on indefinite hold.
