A fleet of trams from CRRC Zhuzhou operate from supercapacitors and batteries, charged from overhead supply rails fitted at stops, entering service on May 15 2021.
Wenshan State Tram Line 4 runs north from Puzhehei station on the Kunming – Nanning high-speed line for 9 km along the main access road before reaching the townships of Qiubei and Jinping. The 11·7 km main route serves the Tourist Service Centre at Puzhehei Scenic Area just north of Qiubei, with a 2·3 km two-stop branch running east to Jiaolian Square in Jinping.
