Tramvaino-Trolleibusnoe Upravlenie (EMUP TTU)

First line opened 1929; an extensive system of 31 routes serving 167 stops.

A central west–east link via Uralkabel was inaugurated on December 11 2017 between Krasnouralskaya and Pl. Kommunarov (Lines 2, 18: 1·6 km, 3 stops).

On August 31 2022 an inter-urban tram line opened from Frezerovshchikov (adjacent to the north end of the metro line at Prospekt Kosmonavtov) running north to Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Line 333: 8·5 km, 13 stops). A 10-year agreement to finance, build and operate the line was awarded to Verkhnepyshminskiy Tramway on May 20 2021.

December 22 2023 saw the opening of branch southwest from Volgogradskaya to Akademika Parina served by route 1 (4·2 km, 7 stops). On February 17 2024 a branch from Musorgskogo opened taking route 9 south to Luchistaya ul. (1·7 km, 2 stops).
