Fortescue Iron Ore Railway

Fortescue Metals Group opened its line from Port Hedland to Christmas Creek and Mt Nicholas in the Chichester Ranges, Western Australia, in 2008. Built to serve iron ore deposits, the rail and port assets are being developed by a Fortescue subsidiary The Pilbara Infrastructure Pty Ltd.
