Japan Subway Association

Created in 1978 the association has 32 regular members and 34 associate members representing Japan's city metro operators, operators with through services to those, and other operators with underground sections. It includes four committees concerned with policy, technology, operation review, and linear motor operation. It produces a journal 'Subway'.
