Scottish Association for Public Transport (SAPT)

Established in 1962 to campaign against rail closures, today SAPT campaigns for improved public passenger transport, an integrated Scottish transport network, a high-speed north-south rail link and a shift of freight to rail and water. In particular it campaigns for reconnecting towns that lost their rail service.
