FRANCE: Grand Paris Express metro project promoter Société du Grand Paris has awarded Systra a contract to provide technical project management assistance services for construction of the East and West sections of the future automated Line 15.
What Systra described as ‘an exceptionally large’ contract, and one of the biggest it has won in France, will see the consultancy support SGP during the programme definition, tender management and construction phases between September 2019 and the completion of commissioning, which is scheduled for 2030.
Line 15 will provide an orbital loop around Paris, and is expected to carry 1 million passengers/day when complete.
