CZECH REPUBLIC: Škoda Electric delivered its first 32 Tr battery trolleybus to Opava from its Plzeň factory on October 15.

In January operator DPMO signed a contract worth KC135·5m excluding VAT for the supply of 10 trolleybuses. The model is based on SOR’s NS 12 bodyshell and is fitted with 42·1 kWh lithium-titanate-oxide traction batteries that allow for off-wire operation.

The battery trolleybuses are due to replace the city’s Škoda 14 TrM vehicles.
