HS2 is searching for 40 talented graduates to join the business this September

UK: High speed line project promoter HS2 Ltd has issued a final call for applications for its 2023 graduate recruitment programme, which starts in September and will offer 40 places across a range of disciplines.

The deadline to apply is January 22. HS2 Ltd says the recruitment scheme will help it to bolster its technical services directorate, with engineering graduates having the chance to join teams delivering the stations, tunnels and viaducts along the route between London, Birmingham, Crewe and eventually Manchester. There will also be opportunities in the Environment, Hybrid Bill, Project Management, Procurement and Commercial teams.

The project promoter says that its annual graduate intake programme has already helped to launch the careers of hundreds of young people as the first phase of the high speed line approaches ‘peak construction’.

‘With all three phases of HS2 now live, we’re increasing the number of places available on our graduate talent programme. As a result, 2023 will mark our biggest annual intake of new graduate talent into our offices and construction sites’, said Karen Davis, Head of Talent & Development.
