Network Rail overhead line engineers

Network Rail has awarded Labinah Management Training Ltd a £2m contract to provide advice and training services to support its Customer Experience Programme, which aims to deliver and embed a service culture.

Faithful+Gould has been awarded a place on Network Rail’s £45m North West & Central Commercial Services Framework. The five-year framework includes pre-contract procurement management, post-contract commercial management, cost audit & assurance, claims management, cost planning/estimating and strategic partnering.

GTR Southern Class 377 Electrostar EMU

A legal claim against Govia Thameslink Railway was filed with the Competition Appeal Tribunal on November 24 seeking compensation worth up to £73m over a claimed lack of access to London zone boundary fares. This follows the launch of similar claims relating to South Eastern and South Western franchisees.

Southend on Sea Borough Council has awarded TES 2000 Ltd a £118 743 contract for track and signalling maintenance and repairs on the narrow gauge Southend Pier railway. The contract runs for three years, with an option for further two.
