Its requirements will include professional services, enabling works, main civil works, stations, railway systems, rolling stock and depots.
The preliminary market engagement exercise aims to raise awareness of the opportunities, and to engage directly with potential suppliers to gain feedback on the proposed commercial approach, including contracting and packaging strategy.
A virtual briefing session on May 14 will be followed by market sounding.
