GERMANY: The separation of the activities of ballastless track and concrete sleeper supplier Rail.One GmbH into two legally and organisationally separate entities took effect on August 1.
Rail.One GmbH headed by Verena Moosburger is now responsible for the German market, which it says is the ‘entrepreneurial and technological homeland’ of the group.
International activities, business development and the group-wide management of technology and innovation are the responsibility of PCM Rail.One AG, headed by Jochen Riepl.
‘We are confident that this bold move marks our launch into a new phase’, said Riepl.
The two entities operate under the same roof at the group headquarters at Neumarkt in Bayern. In December they will move to new offices in the NeuerMarkt development.
