INNOTRANS: The Gleisgründungszug is a newly developed machine for drilling piles for bridge foundations, overhead electrification masts, noise barriers and earthworks stabilisation which Techne (formerly Kirow) and Bauer have produced for contractor Hering Bahnbau.
Able to be equipped for cutter soil mixing and triple soil mixing, GGZ simplifies work around the track which previously required considerable effort, as it can reach work sites by rail, avoiding the need for special road transport and the construction of temporary roads.
The telescopic boom provides a large working area around the track, while the short counterweight avoids blocking the adjacent line. It features high precision automatic drilling and positioning control.
