Network with revenue potential

ECI Telecom has supplied a US$5m Syncom SDH telecommunications network to Singapore MRT. Linking 60 stations with trackside optic fibre cabling, it can transmit information at speeds of up to 400gigabits/sec. It supports SMRT’s telephone network and also carries data and pictures from station CCTV cameras to the control room.
