March 10 saw the restoration of rail freight services between Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina with the reopening of the line between Brasina in Serbia and Zvornik Novia in Bosnia. Common regulations for train operations were agreed by JZ and BHZJK on March 5 under the terms of a co-operation accord signed in Beograd on February 24.

    On March 10 Eurostar (UK) Ltd, SNCF and SNCB announced the formation of Eurostar Group to help centralise management of the high-speed service between London. Paris and Brussels. To be based at London Waterloo, the Group will manage key functions including Commercial, and co-ordinate others such as Production and Sales which will be retained as divisions within the three parent companies.
