ENVIRONMENTAL Lubricants Manufacturing and Portec Rail have launched a high-performance lubricant based on soya beans, for rail curve and grinding applications.
SoyTrack is the result of research at the University of Northern Iowa, and has the column strength and resistance to rain of petroleum-based lubricants. It has the advantage of being biodegradable, and has a more stable viscosity index and a higher flash point than traditional oils.
