Trains prioritised over planes in Air France rescue deal

The proposed financing mechanism for the construction of the CDG Express dedicated rail link between Paris Est station and Charles-de-Gaulle Airport has been approved by the European Commission (Photo: ADP).

FRANCE: Modal shift from plane to train has been made a condition of a state aid package which the government is offering to Air France-KLM.
