POLAND: Alstom and Politechnika Warszawska’s Faculty of Automotive & Construction Machinery Engineering have signed an agreement to co-operate in the education of future railway engineers.

The project involves exchanges of experience, the implementation of joint scientific and research projects and extensive support for students, who will benefit from internships and placements at Alstom’s 11 Polish sites. These may then lead to a career within the company.

‘As the biggest manufacturer and exporter in the Polish railway industry, we have the best know-how and experience within the mobility sector’, said Artur Fryczkowski, Alstom Sales & Business Development Director in Poland, Ukraine & the Baltic States. ‘We are eager to share our knowledge with young people who are preparing to enter the labour market.’
