AUSTRIA: Plastics manufacturer Faigle Kunststoffe has introduced an antibacterial version of hanging straps in an effort to encourage passengers to use them without fear of coming into contact with potentially harmful bacteria.
The additive is compatible with the supplier’s full range of colours and designs. It is integrated into the strap material, rather than just applied to the surface, and as a result it does not wear off.
It is resistant to cleaning agents, and remains effective throughout a hanging strap’s typical service life.
