FRANCE: Société du Grand Paris has selected Thales and IER’s Easier business to supply revenue collection systems for Grand Paris Express automated metro lines 15, 16, 17 and 18.
The contract includes the supply of almost 500 ticket office and self-service ticket vending machines and 1 200 access gates, along with integration into Île-de-France’s existing ticketing infrastructure, long-term maintenance and future upgrades. Patrick Jouin ID Agency will design the equipment.
The first of the stations on the four lines are scheduled to open in 2024, and the final sections in 2030.
