BOGIES: Anti-vibration specialist Trelleborg and Bombardier Transportation have developed a hydraulic axle guide element for Bombardier’s Flexx family of bogies which provides frequency-dependent longitudinal stiffness. This reduces wheel and track wear, energy consumption and curve squeal noise.
