USA: Hempel has launched its Hempatop Direct 460 one-coat direct-to-metal corrosion protection coating range in the North American wagon market.
Intended for interior use on vans and exterior use on all types of wagon, Hempatop Direct 460 supersedes the supplier’s Hempadur Mastic 45883 product.
It ‘provides significant corrosion resistance and protects railcars against weathering’, said Tracey Wilson, Hempel’s Global Rail Product Manager. ‘We have developed Hempatop Direct 460 specifically for our customers in the rail industry, where we saw the need for this high-performing direct-to-metal coating’.
