UK: Allan J Hargreaves Plant Engineers is expanding its site near Blackpool to help meet to increased demand for its machinery design and manufacturing services from the rail and construction sectors.
‘We solve customers’ technical problems by making or adapting plant equipment to meet their needs’, said Managing Director Paul Hargreaves. ‘We specialise in rail adaptations. There are not really any original equipment manufacturers that make rail machines like we do. For example, we adapt earth moving machines for rail lines.’
The company also has a team of mobile service engineers who work all over the UK. ‘Our fully-equipped mobile field service team carry out a wide range of diagnostic and repair work for both the rail and construction industries’, said Hargreaves. ‘Customer service is paramount.’
