UK: New Jersey-based battery-powered track maintenance tool manufacturer Focused Technology Solutions is in talks with potential strategic partners for the launch of its products in the British market during Q1 2021.
Intended as a more cost-efficient, environmentally-friendly and productive replacement for hydraulic tools, the range includes the DrillEase sleeper drill, LagEase lag screw inserter and remover, and SpikeEase spike puller. The SpikeForce spike driver and EclipEase e-clip rail fastening inserter/remover are expected to be launched in Q2 2021.
‘There is a huge opportunity for us in the UK rail market and this feels like the perfect time to dive in’, said company President Peter Bartek. ‘Our tools have been a massive success in the USA, Canada, Australia and Mexico, and we expect the UK to be no different.’
