A specialist in software supporting the bus industry, EPM Group announced on October 21 that it had reached agreement to acquire 3Squared in a transaction supported by Liberty Capital. 3Squared provides workflow digitalisation tools for the rail market, led by its RailSmart software suite. ‘The acquisition will support our focus on integrated transport whilst diversifying our activities into the rail sector’, explained EPM CEO Ian Churchill. 3Squared co-founders Tim Jones and James Fox said they were ‘incredibly proud of the achievements of 3Squared over the last two decades. With the support of EPM, we are now ideally placed to accelerate our growth.’
