USA: TÜV Rheinland's North American subsidiary TÜV Rheinland Rail Sciences announced the acquisition of Rail Safety Consulting on January 19, saying the deal would expand its range of signalling and safety consultancy services, particularly in Positive Train Control and Communications-Based Train Control.
'Joining forces with RSC allows us to provide a more complete set of rail safety consulting services globally,' said Dr-Ing Manfred Bayerlein, Chief Executive Officer of TÜV Rheinland.
