GERMANY: The branch of the Strasbourg tram network which crosses the River Rhine from France to Kehl in Germany was extended by 1·1 km on November 23.

The extension has two stops, at Hochschule/Läger and Rathaus. It is intended to improve access to the shopping area of Kehl and to provide interchange with local bus services.

Route D trams to Poteries in Strasbourg run every 13 to 16 min, although the timetable has been temporarily affected by changes to services associated with the Strasbourg Christmas market.
