Benjámin Zelki
Benjámin Zelki joined full-time to Railway Gazette Group as Industry Editor in 2022 November, following seven years of freelancing. He has been travelling around the world and covering railway projects, interviewing industry leaders, and attending industry conferences and fairs. He has been extensively covering Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Brazil, South Africa, Poland, Chile, Argentina, and his home country, Hungary. From 2015 to 2022, besides supplying news stories and feature articles for Railway Gazette and Metro Report, he has been working in different positions at the Centre for Budapest Transport and the Hungarian Museum of Transport, as well as a Journalist at leading Hungarian political magazines and news portals, either as freelancer or full-time, covering a wide range of topics in transportation, urban development, and sustainability. He graduated as a Sociologist and a Geographer at the Corvinus University of Budapest and the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences in 2012 and 2015.
