Polish infrastructure contractor Trakcja Polska has been renamed Trakcja-Tiltra following its acquisition by Tiltra Group AB and AB Kauno Tiltai.

Henry Williams has invested £0·75m in a rapid-acting hammer for faster production of fishplates for export. The UK firm supplies around 60000 fishplates a year.
