Europe: A consortium of Porr, G Hinteregger & Söhne, Società Italiana per Condotte d'Acqua and Itinera has formally signed the €966m contract for lot H51 of the Brenner Base Tunnel. This covers the boring of 10·37 m diameter twin tunnels between Pfons and Brenner, around 9 km of exploratory shafts, and an emergency zone at St Jodok.
