INNOTRANS: With the registration deadline for InnoTrans 2018 approaching and a year to go before the event, organiser Messe Berlin reports that bookings are 25% higher than comparative figures for the last event, when 2 955 exhibitors from 60 countries displayed their products and services to 137 391 trade visitors from 119 countries.
Exhibitors have requested 10% more floor space for InnoTrans 2018, and international exhibitors are expected to occupy almost 20% more display area.
A new multi-purpose Hall 27 is under construction, which will be the largest on the site at 10 000 m2. This will replace part of the outdoor display area, and involve moving the outdoor tracks.
