ŠKODA: Central and southeastern European orders will be the focus of Škoda Transportation’s displays at InnoTrans 2014.
The outdoor display will include a ForCity Classic 28T tram for Konya. The first of these entered passenger service in the Turkish city earlier this year, and most of the remaining 59 will be delivered by the end of the year. Konya recently placed a follow-on order for 12 ForCity Catfree trams.
Also on the outdoor display will be a RegioPanter electric multiple-unit for use on south Moravian regional services serving Brno.
The Czech company’s stand will feature a 1:24 scale model of a Type 109E locomotive, six of which were ordered by Deutsche Bahn last year for regional services linking Nürnberg, Ingolstadt and München.
