IVU: IVU Traffic Technologies has entered the Turkish and Mexican markets with the award of two contracts in recent weeks.

The Germany firm is to supply IVU.plan and IVU.crew planning and dispatch software to Kayseri Ulaşım. These will initially be used on the city’s 34 km, 55-stop tram network, where implementation is expected to take six months.

‘Our aim is to fully integrate the different modes of transport in the future’, said Kayseri Ulaşım CEO Feyzullah Gündogdu. ‘The IVU system will make this endeavour considerably easier and will help us to manage the entire public transport in Kayseri in a significantly more efficient way.’

IVU also announced that it is to supply its IVU.realtime real-time passenger information system to two railway stations in Puebla, with three more expected to follow. It will also supply IVU.fleet.server for vehicle positioning.
