ESTONIA: Operator Sebe has started test running a Solaris Urbino 12 electric bus on Route 25 in Tartu. The test runs are due to conclude at the end of August 2019.

The bus is fitted with two 125 kW traction motors powered by Solaris High Energy batteries. These are charged using a plug-in charger, but the bus has provision for the installation of a roof-mounted pantograph to enable fast charging.

Capacity is 75 passengers, including 30 seated. The vehicle is equipped with air-conditioning, LED lighting and a passenger information system. It has been adapted for the winter conditions in Tartu with additional insulation in the ceiling, walls and wheel arches.
