DALLAS Area Rapid Transit extended its Trinity Express commuter rail service from 16 to 43 km on September 18. Four new stations have been opened at West Irving, CentrePort, Hurst/Bell and Richland Hills. Services run hourly from Dallas as far as CentrePort, where a shuttle bus connects to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Journey time is 30 min to CentrePort and 50 min to the airport. Five peak-hour trains continue to Richland Hills, taking 45min. Completion of the line through to Fort Worth is expected next year, when two more stations will be opened.
