Denis Huneau has been appointed Managing Director of EPSF, the French national railway safety authority, with effect from January 19, succeeding Michel Aymeric.
Huneau has considerable experience in the rail sector, most recently as Director, Network Access, at railway regulator Autorité de Régulation des Activités Ferroviaires. He was Operations Director of RFF in 1997 – 2000, before working in the safety directorate at the Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure. Between 2005 and 2010 he was a board member at the European Railway Agency.
