CHINA: Remote conditioning monitoring specialist Perpetuum has signed a memorandum of understanding for China High Speed Railway Technology Co subsidiary Beijing Sheenline Group Co to support its entry into the Chinese market.

The agreement announced on June 21 includes wheelset, bogie and track monitoring, along with design and commissioning advice. Perpetuum equipment procured by Sheenline is to be deployed throughout China over the next two years, targeting the high speed, metro and freight sectors.

Sheenline director Shan Guan said Perpetuum would provide the company with the analytical and on-board data capture services it needs. ‘We share a vision of introducing carefully selected technology that can be integrated to ensure that the railways can achieve more from less, more safely’, he said.
